Taste of the Caribbean – Food and Drinks Festival
Do your tastebuds a favour and visit this wonderful celebration of Caribbean food and drink. It will have the vibes of a lively street market, with live reggae, R&B and Motown music.
Taking place in Hove Park, guests are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy the vibes and of course the authentic flavours of the day.

Siegfried and Joy
These incredible magicians are taking over Komedia for their Brighton premier. The is night promised to be filled with awe-striking magic, mind-bending illusions and laugh-out-loud comedy. This is set to be a great night.

Brighton Fringe
Running up until the 2nd of June – catch the last few days of England’s largest arts festival. Here are some great suggestions for the end of the Brighton Fringe Festival in June.
- Tom Greaves’ comedy about privilege is brutal, hilarious and tone-deaf. He has two final dates at The Bunker at Fools Paradise. This is running from the 1st-2nd of June from 19:00
- A Night to Remember is a Christmas story told in Broadway style. With lavish costumes, outstanding performances and brilliant music, catch this performance until the 2nd of June at the C Arts venue for only £4.
- The Best of Brighton Comedy Showcase has its final date on the 1st of June at the Caxton Arms. This is a free event and offers support to some of Brighton’s rising comedy stars!
- Displaced is at the C Arts venue. This is a cinematic reimagining of Akeim Toussaint Buck’s one-man theatre piece, Windows of Displacement. With multiple location changes and a myriad of kinetic dances, this is set to enthral the viewer. With current themes that affect us as a human race, transmuted through explosive dance and thought-provoking poetry.

A Celebration of Verdi
This Charity gala concert is hosted by the Sussex Symphony Orchestra, with some international solo stars making an appearance.
It will be a celebration of the distinguished Giuseppe Verdi, with an insight into his fascinating life through words and music.
This charitable event’s proceeds will go to Save the Children. It will take place at Brighton Dome.

Kingsroad Street Market, St. Leonards on Sea

This takes place the first Saturday of every month.

Bohemia Walled Garden Open Day
Bohemia Walled Garden is a beautiful, hidden space in Summerfield Wood. It is a local nature reserve managed entirely by volunteers.

Spaces, Spirits and Sea Monsters on Beachy Head – A Short Creative Writing Course
Join the Beachy Head Story’s Writer in Residence, Annalie Seaman, for a writing course that explores the current, historical, and mythological aspects of Beachy Head.
There will be an investigation into the connections between land and sea, focusing on the symbolism of boundaries and thresholds.
“Sea Creatures” will uncover the hidden world of modern marine mammals and cetaceans, alongside the imagined realm of folkloric sea monsters.
Participants will be invited to create their own writings inspired by these rich, multi-layered themes while gaining deeper insights into this remarkable landscape.

Adur Arts trail
The Adur Arts collective is a group of informal artists based in or around Shoreham-by-Sea with an aim to promote and develop the arts locally.
Bring your sketchbook and immerse yourself in inspiration. The trail features atmospheric and inspiring views or the river, beach, airport, ancient buildings and bustling markets.
You can also share your wonderful creation on socials with the hasgtag AdurArts.

Pinot and Picasso
Pinot and Picasso is a fun concept of sipping and painting. It is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and is coming to the wonderful Vudu venue on Warwick Street in Worthing this June.
The theme of this evening’s painting is “plants over people”. The art teacher is encouraging and supportive, whilst the hosts are fabulous.

Playa de La Costa is back by popular demand. Last year was electric vibes and was such a great day out for all.
This year is packed with an afternoon of salsa, bachata, kizomba, raggaeton and more latin beats. The atmosphere really is second to none at this time of year on East Beach.

Sky Full of Stories
A fun musical party for adults with learning disabilities and their families.

The Wellderness Summer Solstice
What other way to celebrate the longest day of the year than in the wonderful backdrop of the South Downs?
Wild Heart Hill is a magical woodland and wildflower strewn hillside.
Guests are encouraged to car share to avoid excess emissions and £5 charitable donation for car parking, put towards future tree planting.
Camping is also available on the evening if you book ahead.

Durrington Festival
Durrington festival is always set to be a hoot, taking place at Pond Lane Recreation Ground.
