1. Dino Detective Trail at Wakehurst
Embark on a prehistoric adventure at Wakehurst’s Dino Detective Trail. From 15th to 23rd February, young explorers can journey into the Jurassic era, uncovering fascinating dinosaur facts amidst the stunning winter gardens.

2. Ice Skating at Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park
Experience the magic of ice skating on real ice within the historic Locomotive Shed at Sheffield Park Station. Running from 15th to 23rd February, this unique setting allows families to glide across the rink while surrounded by vintage steam engines.

3. Dragon Scavenger Hunt at Bodiam Castle
From 15th to 23rd February, Bodiam Castle invites families to spot the little dragons hiding around the castle. Engage in dragon-themed games and unscramble letters to discover a secret word, all within the enchanting castle grounds.

4. Pesky Pests Trail at Bateman’s, Burwash

5. A Story of the Seasons at Nymans
Families can explore a nature-based trail around the stunning backdrop of Nymans gardens, from the 15th – 23rd February. This trail features beautiful illustrations and extracts from the book “A Story of the Seasons,” providing an engaging way for children to connect with nature.

6. Art Club at ArtPod, Brighton

8. Paddington at Brighton Toy Museum

9. Medieval Fun at Lewes Castle

10. There’s No Place Like Home! Weald & Downland Museum
Join the Weald & Downland Living Museum this February half term to explore houses and homes. Discover ancient construction techniques like wattle and daub, model your own grand design from clay, and enjoy enchanting storytelling sessions.

11. Mudfest at Arundel WWT
Mudfest at Arundel WWT runs from 15th to 23rd this February half term, offering a week of muddy fun for families. Activities include mud art, beak-themed crafts, and storytime, alongside hands-on experiences like mud flinging and a mud kitchen.

Special sessions include seed bomb making (15th-17th), mud sculpture (18th-20th), and minibeast hunts (21st-23rd) in the Wildlife Garden.
All activities are included with admission or free for WWT members, and pre-booking is available for non-members. Be sure to dress for mess and embrace the muddy adventure!

12. Booth Art Club
The Booth Art Club at the Booth Museum of Natural History offers art and craft workshops for children aged 5 to 13 on Tuesdays 18th this February half term with sessions from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Each workshop draws inspiration from the museum’s collections, featuring themes such as Snakes and Reptiles, Reuse and Recycle, and Your Favourite Animal.
Tickets are priced at £6 per session (£5 for members), or £15 for three sessions (£12 for members).

13. Experience Roman Life
Fishbourne Roman Palace & Gardens invites families to explore Roman history through interactive activities from the 17th-21st February.
Visitors can try their hand at making mosaics, participate in arts and crafts, and dress up in Roman-style outfits. The event runs daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is included in the general admission fee. Pre-booking is recommended but not essential.

14. Spring Crafts at WTM
Check out this Kids Workshop: Spring Crafts at Worthing Museum and Gallery, for kids ages 5-7.
Participants will engage in creative activities using various materials to craft unique spring-themed items under the guidance of resident tutor Anna.
There are two sessions available: 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, each lasting 90 minutes. Tickets are priced at £5.50 per child, and accompanying adults are welcome to join in the creative fun.

15. Standen House and Gardens
This February half term, from 15th to 23rd, Standen House and Garden in East Grinstead is hosting a Half Term: Tawny Owl Wood Workshop and ‘Finding the Old Oak Tree’ Trail.
Families can enjoy traditional fun activities and a nature-inspired craft workshop. The event costs £4, which includes a trail sheet, gift, and workshop session. Booking is essential, and standard admission charges apply.

16. Bounceworld
Bounce World is hosting a February Half Term 2025 from the 17th-21st of February, in Worthing. The event features a variety of inflatable attractions, including their new Jumbo Jet Inflatable.
